About Me

My name is Rohan Beckford, haile from a small island in the caribbean known as Jamaica. Most of my life was spend in Jamaica where I was educated up through high, then joined the military for three years. During high school I joined and active participated in the Jamaica Combine Cadet Force; much like the ROTC here in the US. I earned the rank or sargent before joining the Jamaica Defence Force. I was born and raise on a small in one the of the smallest Parishes in Jamaica St. Andrew (don't even ask why I am in Maine, Long Story). I am the third child of one family and the first of another, meaning I have no full siblings everyone is half.

About My Country

Jamaica is located Latitude 18º 15N, Longitude 77º 30W with a land mass of 4,181 sq miles. The colors of the Jamaican flag represents YELLOW: Sunshine, GREEN: the land and BLACK: the people. In addition, Blue Mountain which is the highest peak in Jamaica at 2,256 meters. Our motto is "Out of many, One people"

Currently, I am attending the University of Maine at Fort Kent majoring in Computer Application with a minor in Mathematics. This is my senior year, I only spent two years at this university. Things I like to do are for the most part computer related hardware and software, reading, listening to music, driving, play basketball and soccer, watching movies (horror, comedy, science fiction) and when I can afford it shopping.

The Chinese Zodiac

In the chinese Zodiac I am a rabbit, what kind of dumb-ass creature is that, why couldn't I be something cool like a Dragon, Ox, or even a Horse; but hey its chinese. However, in regular Zodiac, we are twins --the Gemini. When I look up the description/explaination of this zodiac, it was pretty acquate.
